Clinical Support Staff

Veterinary Surgical Associates (VSA) is seeking R.V.T.s or experienced veterinary assistants to join our teams in Campbell and San Mateo. We currently have full and part time positions available and can offer a creative/flexible schedule based on the needs of individuals.  Currently, we have openings for weekday shifts as well as evening and weekend shifts.  In October, 2006 we will open the doors to our brand new, state-of- the-art facility in Campbell where we will make use of diagnostic and treatment tools such as Computed Tomography (CT), digital radiography, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy and to help us provide the best possible care for some of our cancer patients we wil have a linear accelerator.  A partial list of the skills our nurses apply includes: surgical scrub nurse, circulating surgical nurse, anesthetist, routine and advanced radiographic studies, IV catheterization, phlebotomy, basic lab work (CBC, Chem 12, Electrolytes) client communication/education and high quality perioperative patient care. In both our Campbell and San Mateo facility we work side by side with an internal medicine/oncology referral practice (Veterinary Medical Specialists).
